The start of my 52 rolls project. This is all pretty exciting and frightening at the same time. Exciting to be pushing myself to publish analog photos on a weekly basis. Frightening because I need to push myself trough creative droughts. And that happens... a lot.
So without further ado. These are the first shots of the first roll of Ilford Delta 3200 going trough my Hasselblad 500CM. A grainy film to say the least. You'll see some shots from an evening walk here in Amsterdam Noord.
I like those moody and contrasty black and white shots. I also experimented with movement which resulted in this almost etherial kid in the carousel. The last two shots are of the hand poked tattoos by my girlfriend Lotte on the arms of Manon. If you look closely you'll see the result of winding up your roll of film to fast during dry (winter) weather. Static electricity forms white vertical streaks on the film.
Ah well, all in a days work.
