Week 48 - Milano

Week 48 - Milano

We went on a srprs.me weekend that was given to us by our lovely friends. A citytrip for which the destination is revealed on the day of departure. And we went to Milan in Italy, the fashion capital of Europe and maybe the world. I took my Hasselblad with me to shoot street, architecture and fun stuff with Lotte. Bellissima!

Week 46 - Amsterdam

Week 46 - Amsterdam

This weeks roll was in a bit of a hurry. So I went to Amsterdam Central Station (to take the train after shooting this roll). I can really see these photos were taken in a hurry. Not a lot of keepers, exposure and composition was off at most of those photos. I’m also struggeling with water marks on my negatives. I have to get myself some distilled water for the next rolls.

Week 40 - Amsterdam

Week 40 - Amsterdam

A pretty uninspired week this time. So I just went out with my camera and went to the centre of Amsterdam, looking for compositions, lines and faces in the strangest places. I actually really like the triangular composition, looking for frames within the frame. That’s what I always like about street shooting with a long lens. Week 38 - Amsterdam

Week 38 - Amsterdam

I went on another photo walk trough Amsterdam with a part of the Hassy Gang. I rocked my Hasselblad 500CM with 180mm on, so I could go for the street details. So here we are, a lot of street details, a double exposure of the Westertoren. And to top it off: a macro shot of funny looking flower. All shot on Kodak Tri-X 400.

Week 31 - Berlin Calling

Week 31 - Berlin Calling

Berlin was calling this week. We went and helped Manon move to this inspiring city. I brought the Hasselblad along to shoot some pictures there. We went to the Tempelhofer Park, an old airport of which the Berlin people thought: "Let's keep that around." There we saw the most beautiful moon rise, we actually caught a blood moon on black and white, you'll have to believe me.

I also experimented with what is actually a washing mistake. When hard tap water dries on your negative, it creates these mineral deposits. So we have some of that as well for your what-the-hell-is-that-moment-of-the-day.

Week 24 - Hassy Gang

Week 24 - Hassy Gang

This week I went out with a group of Hasselblad enthusiasts, the Hassy Gang. We had a little meet-up in Amsterdam where we exchanged our stories and did a photo walk around the area. We started at Roest and ended up at the Cruise Terminal where there were two cruise ships docked. I had a lot of fun with these guys! Definitely going to organize another meet-up in the future.
